BOXWOOD IS COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABLE DESIGN. Sustainability is integral to Boxwood's design philosophy and approach. We consider conservation and preservation of the world's dwindling natural resources an integral responsibility of designers. We seek to incorporate sustainable technologies and materials into our architecture, and to design projects that will endure. Sustainable design is evidenced in our interior design and in our use of sustainable printing processes and recycled paper with responsible inks for our graphic design projects. Boxwood has expertise with several 'green' building rating systems, and 100% of our architectural staff is LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited. As an office, we have been recognized as a Business in the Green by Green Works for reducing waste. Boxwood staff started a monthly Sustainability Salon for design professionals to discuss sustainable design issues. Boxwood is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and NW ECO Building Guild.
